The atmosphere at the inn is warm and relaxed.
With its feet in the water of the St. Lawrence, our inn lives by the sound of the waves, sheltered from the noise of Route 132, in one of Quebec's most beautiful villages, Métis-sur-Mer.

A former bookseller in Quimper, Brittany, and a former agronomist by training, Marie and Raynald settled in Métis-sur-Mer 25 years ago to share their taste for the small and large pleasures of the table and the great joys of reading. Their 3 children Théo, Manuel, and Marguerite have worked with them all these years.
The family's daughter, Marguerite, is now taking over the business. This passionate young woman and her dynamic team are delighted to welcome you for a stay where time stands still and beauty and human warmth gently nourish hearts.
Books. Books everywhere, in the bedrooms, in the living room, and even in the kitchen. Books are there to be read, to be passed around in as many hands as possible.
