A Family Story

Founded by Marc and Martine Lessard in 1998 following a trip to Belgium, the Microbrewery aims to offer specialty beers to introduce new varieties to the world. It stands out with its La Messagère beer, the very first in North America created to satisfy the intolerant and sensitive to gluten, which makes Microbrewery the pioneers of gluten-free beer.

The innovative Microbrewery replaces barley malt with millet malt, rice and buckwheat. In 2004, we launched the New France malting project allowing us to produce our own malt. In this way, we control all the grain processing to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Whether for simple drink, a tour of our facilities or a meal, we are the place for historic and ... beneficial entertainment! Our cuisine, which combines local flavors and the know-how of our chef, will seduce you from the first bite. We are proud to use local products, come and taste it without delay.
