The Honourable Pascale St-Onge was elected Member of Parliament for Brome-Missisquoi in 2021. She previously served as Minister of Sports and Minister responsible for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec.

An advocate of equality, democracy, and social justice, Minister St-Onge is renowned for her strong leadership and ability to find effective, concrete solutions to complex issues.

Over the past decade, Minister St-Onge has served as Secretary General and President of the Fédération Nationale des Communications et de la Culture, where she addressed issues facing the media, the press, and the cultural milieu. In this capacity, she oversaw specialized studies for the development of public policy, took part in the creation and adoption of support programs for the print media, and contributed to the introduction of policies and programs designed to help the media and cultural milieu adapt to the transition to digital platforms. In addition, she played a key role in the acquisition of Groupe Capitales Médias and its transformation into a cooperative that has enabled its daily newspapers to survive and pursue their mission.

Minister St-Onge holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a Certificate in Journalism from the Université in Montreal. She also pursued a career as a musician for several years.

Minister St-Onge has lived in Orford, Quebec, since 2018.
